Important Tips

A few things worth knowing

Sun & Heat

From May to September the sun is intense. Sunscreen, a hat and water are essential — even in spring.

Tap Water

Tap water is safe but salty in taste. Most guests prefer bottled water (sold cheaply at any minimarket).

Wi-Fi & SIM

Free Wi-Fi throughout the house. Local SIMs from GO or Melita are easy to buy at the airport.

Driving

Malta drives on the LEFT. Streets are narrow — taxis or buses are easier than renting.

Emergency

Dial 112 for police, ambulance or fire. Mater Dei is the main hospital, ~15 min away.
